Hey girlies, todays' post is a little different to normal! I've never made a post about my hair or anything to do with it, but now that spring and summer is kind of here, i like to get my hair accessories back in! So decided to share 3 simple ways to add 'something more' to your hair, and outfit. So anyway, i thought i'd use one of my favourite scarfs! It's leopard print and cost just 50p from a charity shop! Vintage and charity shops are great places to pick scarfs like this up for little prices, unless you agree with Topshops £15 price tags for a piece of material? ... Didn't think so.
I typically wear one as just a headband (simply tie it around your head and pull the fastening round the back of your head, and hide it under your hair) because it's the most understated look, i feel. I love the bow, but I'm not very brave at wearing things more 'overthetop'! The turband way however is probably my favourite, but i associate it more with festivals, so wouldn't wear it to college! What is your favourite way to wear one? Do you have any other suggestions?
I currently own about 20 scarves of similar style (in different prints of course), so may even do a little sneaky giveaway of one? But you can buy similar ones, so check here and here, and if you have the money, check out this beaut of a scarf here! - OMG.
Have a lovely day xxx
These three styles look so lovely on you!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with scarfs from charity shops, you can find so many amazing fabrics, at a percentage of the price in somewhere like Topshop!
I tend to wear them as a bow, I love how they can completely make an outfit better!

Awww thankyou Charlie! I know, they are so amazing! I don't even bother looking for scarves in high street stores anymore! - way too expensive!

DeleteThankyou sweetie ! xxx
I usually wear a bow but I love the way the turban looks on you, I might see if it will work with a fringe! I have sooo many scarves it's ridiculous especially as the only one I've been wearing recently is a plain black one!
