For those of you that follow me on instagram and twitter you may have seen the photo i posted last week when i was utterly ecstatic after finding this gorgeous peplum for a mere £12 in Matalan. Yes, i couldn't believe it either. After writing my little peplum post (see here) a few weeks back, i was still on the hunt for the perfect one. Fortunately, we have finally been united, and no doubt I will wear it to death. They also had other colours such as white, leopard and a deep burgundy red (which would be perfect for winter) so i may just have to pick those bargains up too.
Being a naturally curvy, 'never to be skinny girl', I love anything that exentuates my waist as it is instantly slimming. This top does exactly that and i really couldn't ask for anything more flattering. Obviously i'm not trying to be 'big headed' here, but i think everyone would agree that Peplums really are one the most flattering, slimming shapes on most figures, right? So not only are they great for us more body conscious girls, but they are also really easy to wear. I went for a bit of black-on-black the other day and teamed it with my high wasted black skinny jeans from River Island. However, to make myself look less dressed for winter as the sun made an appearance, i wore a statement necklace & a military jacket.
So if any of you, like i was, are trying to find a great peplum, at a really affordable price i really recommend this one! If any of you have found any other lovely ones then pleaaaase feel free to leave links to outfit posts etc.. down below! Hope you are all well girlies! x x x
