Yesterday was just a perfect day. The sun was shining, I had a peaceful day to myself, and I truly made the most of where I lived. Don't get me wrong here, I love the city, but there's nothing like the rolling hills of the countryside. Seeing as I planned on taking some 'landscape' photo's yesterday, it seemed only appropriate that i put on this lovely tartan swing dress from Triple S! Teamed with a gold statement belt it made a perfect little outfit. Obviously though, when i ventured outside the thick knit jumper appeared and the muddy hunter boots went on.
As the dress is quite a statement piece, i went for very natural tones with my makeup. I even tried putting some white eyeliner in my waterline, and love how much it brightened my eyes! (not that they need to look any bigger). It was so bright outside though, that i just had to put on my sun glasses! (any excuse, eh?).
Dress : c/o Triple S / wellies : Hunter / sunglasses : TKMAXX / Watch: Michael Kors / Belt : Mango / Jumper : M&S
Anyhow, It's mumma's 40th birthday today, so i best not be an antisocial pest and get off this laptop. It really is great being back to blogging again! Have a lovely jubbly day everyone! xox

A tartan dress paired with Hunter wellies - an outfit that never ceases to amaze me! It evokes the nostalgic, Jane Austen-esque countryside and certainly is comfortable and cosy^^
